Discovered last week while excavating for a foundation supporting wall.. 3/4s filled with Rubble and after clearing measuring 3.3 wide x 5.2 long and 4.7 metres high. Thought to have been built between 1860 and 1880, Walls and roof are constructed in 2 courses of brick , floor is brick with a lime cement render.Originally fed with water from roof, it was used for watering the cattle, in the milking sheds and for washing. The water would have been accessed by a pump.
